Hunger Ministry
We help those who don’t get enough to eat by donating or cooking food. We also raise money to feed hungry people & families and increase awareness of hunger issues.

| Opportunities |
Donate non-perishable food items by placing them in the basket in the Narthex. The food goes to Manna Food Center in Rockville, which feeds 3,000 of our hungry neighbors every month. This year, we hope to donate at least one ton of food. For more information about Manna's mission - and the essential services that Living Faith Lutheran helps the food bank provide - click here.

Cook a warm meal in the Fellowship Hall kitchen for delivery to Chase Partnership House, which serves men transitioning from homelessness and recovering from substance abuse & mental health issues. For more information about the Chase shelter - a program of Community Ministries of Rockville, one of Living Faith's partner organizations - click here.
When: Third Monday of the month, 2 to 6 p.m.

Deliver food for Meals on Wheels to 10 - 12 elderly and/or homebound neighbors, some of whom receive few other visitors. Volunteers meet in our Fellowship Hall, gather meals and depart on 4 local routes.
When: 10 a.m., every Monday through Friday
